Click the invite link to add bananamoth Bot to your server. You must have the Manage Server permission to invite bots.

When prompted, make sure to accept all requested permissions. bananamoth Bot needs these to function correctly. If you deny its request for these permissions it won't join your server.

Once added, you should see bananamoth Bot appear in your server's member list. Run /botstats to display ping, or any other command, to confirm it joined.

Assuming you have selected your server, head over to the Manage Alerts tab to configure alerts that have support in your server. You must use the channel ID and ping role ID for it to work — or, if you have tester access, use the "Browse" picker button next to each field. Leaving the channel ID blank will leave that feature off. If you have the channel ID filled in but not the ping role, the alert will send without a ping — this is changeable at any time.

Head to the Giveaways tab and fill out the Create Giveaway form: a channel, a name, a header image (either an image link or an uploaded file), an end date/time, and how many winners to pick. By default anyone can enter, or you can restrict entries to a specific role.

Under "When To Post" you can choose Post Now or Schedule. A scheduled giveaway goes out automatically at the time you pick, and looks like a normal giveaway once it's live — nothing on the embed shows it was scheduled.

If you run similar giveaways often, fill out the form once and click "Save As Template" to reuse it later from the Templates tab — you'll just need to set a fresh end date each time.

From the Active & Past Giveaways tab you can view entrants, end a giveaway early, reroll a winner after it's ended, duplicate a past giveaway into a new one, or delete it entirely. Use the Blacklist tab to block specific members from entering any giveaway in your server — this is enforced server-side by the bot.

Open Settings and scroll to Themes. Standard covers Dark, Sunset, Light, and Forest. Under More Themes you'll also find Cyberpunk, Ocean, Autumn, Midnight, and Duck Pond (which adds a quack sound and a on every click — its volume is adjustable further down the Settings page). Click any theme card to apply it instantly; it's saved to this browser so it'll still be set next time you visit.

If you'd rather the dashboard follow your device's light/dark mode automatically, turn on "Use browser theme" in Settings → Appearance. Picking a theme manually from the Themes menu will turn this back off.

Head to Settings → Beta Access and enter it, then flip on "Enable beta features" to try things like the searchable channel/role picker before they roll out to everyone. If you don't have a key, everything continues to work exactly as before.

Besides configuring alerts, you can use the dashboard to view team members, current known bugs and their status (e.g. work in progress or fixed), an Announcements tab where we'll post new updates or scheduled downtimes for the bot, and a Changelog tab for the most recent updates.
